MICRO-DOCUMENTARIES & NATURE PRACTICE
Film can inspire action and Micro-Documentaries’ short videos do just that—helping organizations and individuals in their quest to bring about social change. Working together since 2010, we’ve redesigned the company website and created supporting visuals for independent films such as “Let’s Get Street Smart” to raise awareness and provide solutions to homelessness, and One Word, a series of short films focused on a single word rescued by visionary indigenous youth as medicine for our ailing relationship with the earth. The first film “One Word Sawalmem” (Sacred Water) features Michael “Pom” Preston from the Winnemem Wintu tribe near Mt. Shasta. Since its release in 2020, it has been selected by over 15 festivals around the world, and was a finalist in the short film program of the Tribeca Film Institute. We’ve also help their founder, Natasha Deganello Giraudie, has she follows her passion by offering customized guided meditation retreats in nature; what she calls Nature Practice.
