EARTH SPECIES PROJECT WEBSITE & ANNUAL REPORT
With exponential advances in AI and Large Language Models, decoding animal communication is not a question of if—it’s when. Earth Species Project (ESP) is at the new frontier of understanding and illuminating the diverse intelligences on earth. Their AI researchers, engineers, and ethologists have built the first-ever large audio-language model designed to analyze data from animal sounds in an effort to decode animal communication. We helped design and launch their website to share updates on the work they do, the press they are receiving, and attract new donors to support the nonprofit. Recently, we created an annual report highlighting their key milestones, current research, and bold new strategy for 2025 and beyond. As an animal lover with a deep belief in our shared sentience, I applaud their mission and vision of our relationship with the rest of nature that allows the diversity of life to thrive.
